Diagnosing parental burnout

The symptoms of parental burnout can be assessed using a validated questionnaire: the Parental Burnout Assessment (PBA), available in more than 25 languages.

Clinical criteria and thresholds have been established to distinguish between parents who are experiencing burnout, those at risk of burnout, and those who are not in burnout.
